A question about jumping saddles?

When fitting a saddle you should always fit it with NOTHING on the horses back ( no saddle cloth, pad, anything) because a saddlecloths or pad is just to absorbe sweat (saddle fitter told me this after ive had the same prob as you) i like pessoa saddles i dont know how much they sell for, but my friend has a vega and she loves it! she said its like riding in a lounge chair lol . also bates elevation was nice to ride in but i guess its personal preference.
