At this point in my lifetime (Age 20), is it too late to start reading as a hobby?

I've never read "Harry Potter", nor have I read "The Kite Runner", "Twilight", or really any other novels for that matter. My attention span is incredibly short and it is difficult for me to sit still and read something for a lengthened period of time. Although I have realized the value and vast amounts of knowledge and experiences books hold I am beginning to read. Will reading improve my vocabulary and grammatical skills or is it too late for this?
