Angels & Demons, The Uglies, Wicked?

Regarding the book Wicked, you don't really need to watch the Wizard of Oz before the book. They are very different. What might be interesting to you though is to read the book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (if you have not read it before but i would read it after Wicked as Wicked is a much faster read).
