Have you ever worked retail? The most popular stores have the most applicants, so they will chose someone with experience over someone without it. If you have no experience you need to get it before even thinking of getting hired by A&F or Hollister. Take a day and put an app at every clothing store at the mall. Take whatever you can get, show up on time and do a good job. In 6 months, try for a better store.
