Physics problem......................?

The stone was moving with balloon at 5m/s. During motion, the balloon did not encounter an impact which would accentuate or reduce its speed. In stead, the stone was dropped at an instance with no initial speed. Hence ignoring speed of balloon as irrelevant, that is simple physics calculation which I need not make.
