Do i contact him now or what do i do?

i met a foreign man 2 months ago who is 10 yrs older and we both didnt want a relationship so we were friends with benefits. then the last week we got closer, once he even told me i want u and nobody else but i ignored it b/c i dont want a serious relationship. then 5 days later he says he met someone he wants to be serious with and it might not last 2 weeks then he wants us to come back to me. then he said we should stay friends and mayb even go for mages together (wtf) it seemed like he was lying about somehing but we agreed to b friends. i told him i didnt want him back in that way and i hope to be platonic friends, he seemed ok with that but its been almost 2 weeks and we havent spoken. he last sent me an email and i replied very briefly without saying anything futher &i didnt hear from him anymore. i want 2stay friends though. why isnt he contacting me? should i get in touch with him? if not, will i hear from him? what about his "serious" relationship, isnt here a lie somewhere
